A Contest to name our 2 Butterfly
Gardens!
Garden A,

Garden B,
20441 Brazos Sage Drive
Prizes are a
$100 Arbor Gate or Plants for All Seasons gift certificate to the person with
the winning name for each garden.
Naming
guidelines:
1) Visit each garden for name
inspiration
2) A name is to be short, simple,
creative & 3 words or less.
3) Not a person’s name because we offer
bricks for honorariums or memorials for that purpose.
4) Nominations are due 04/15/2021 to CCLGC1@gmail.com. The 2 winners will be selected by
the committee.
5) The Contest is open to Cypress Creek
Lakes Residents, only, and they may nominate one name per park.
6) Submissions should include the park A
or B name, the name of the person making the nomination, email address and
phone number.
7) Winners will be announced at 11 am on
05/01/2021, at the
Plant Giveaway/Exchange, at the Community Center, 10702 Cypress Creek Bend
Lane.

Minutes – January 11 Meeting
Minutes –we dispensed with reading of the minutes. Motion was made by Norma
Chiaramonte and seconded by Larry Allen.

gave a review of local nurseries.
· Louise
went over the guidelines for the Garden Naming Contest. It begins March 15 and
ends on April 15. It is open to Cypress Creek Lakes residents only. Each person
can submit only one name per garden. The winners will be announced May 1 at
11:00.
We will award two $100 gift certificates, one for each garden.
They will be from Arborgate and Plants for All Seasons.
Announcements will be on Facebook and Next Door
· Clean
up of the gardens will be 9:00 on March 20.
· Yard
of the Season will resume for the summer season.
· The
May 10 meeting will be in person at the Community Center.
