General Meeting

Special Guest: Glenn Gates, Director of the Texas Volunteer Firefighter’s Relief Fund.

At the start of meeting Liz Hearn presented a $250 Check to TVFRF on behalf of CCLGL. To acknowledge their volunteering at the Junior Garden Club event in May.

 

Minutes - Minutes –we dispensed with reading of the minutes. Motion was made Ellen and seconded by Mark.

 

Treasurer’s Report - Treasurer's Report was read to all members and acknowledged by all. Copies available upon request.

 

Birthdays – Dennis O’Conner

 Refreshments and Door prize- donated by Tracy Walker.  Liz Hearn won Lowe's gift card.

Old Business:

● Ellen discussed options on the Butterfly Garden Stone repairs. - to finalize at next meeting.

● Liz confirmed volunteer roles

● Bricks for Sherri Allen, Dave Mausolf confirmed.

 

New Business:

● Bricks for Beatrice Huriegua and Ellie’s brother - Ellen motioned to move forward and second by Norma.

● Norma will be arranging a dinner event for members and plus one date Friday Nov 18th Location TBA.

● Discount Cards will be ready in October.

● Volunteer opportunities were discussed. Information available on request.

 

Our Next Meeting will be October 10^th at Cypress Creek Community Center.
